Share Button on Product Pages

Our plugin "Share Button on product pages" extends the product page in the store frontend with a button that allows sharing the product page on supported devices. When clicking the button, the sharing function of the system/browser is called and allows sharing with other apps such as WhatsApp.

Since no data needs to be shared with social networks or other sites beforehand, this solution is very privacy-friendly.

The sharing function is currently supported on current iOS and Android systems. On the desktop, only Safari under macOS currently supports this function. On non-supported systems, a dialogue window is displayed alternatively in which the link to the product page can be copied.

Compatibility
The plugin is compatible with xt:Commerce shops from 6.2.2.

The plugin can be downloaded after purchase and used in one shop without an additional licence.
